Magento Tooltips for Attributes and Options
This extension will add a tooltip field in attribute editor and options editor. You can enter in this field even a CMS block id or a simple text to be used as tooltip. This will display a small tooltip icon right next to the Attribute or Option name. By hovering or clicking this icon the tooltip will be displayed.
The tooltip is fully defined by it’s own template and CSS file.
You can choose whatever you want a classic CSS hove behavior or a Javascript controlled behavior (eg: Click). The Javascript comes in a separate file which can be customized.
This extension works on both CE and EE editions. It was tested with Magento CE 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9 and Magento EE 1.13 and 1.14.
It will work out of the box on a standard Magento installations. If your Magento has customized Attributes or Options block templates, a reimplementation of the customization will be needed.
A short use manual is included with the extension, however, a Magento specialist is highly recommended.
